Gianarth was a stand out from the first time I saw him until his death in 2013. He achieved so many first in his lifetime: Bolle's first litter, my first group winning dog, my first group placing dog, my first MACH, but none of those could match his first in my heart. The connection I had with him was unique, he lived for me and I for him.
He was beautiful, not just in body, but in soul. He had the heart of a lion but the gentleness of a lamb. He loved everyone and everything with a quiet strength that could change the stress level in a room. It is selfish of me to wish he hadn't left, to wish I could still hug him, to look in his eyes one more time, all I can do is miss him everyday and try to live up to the greatness he shared with me.
